Dry Christmas trees are extremely flammable, especially when covered in lights, cords, and ornaments. According to the National Fire Protection Association, Christmas tree fires are much more likely to be deadly than most other fires. On average, one out of every 32 reported home Christmas tree fires resulted in a fatality, compared to an average of one death per 143 reported home fires.

Avoid an insurance nightmare and possible tragedy this month by recycling your tree as soon as possible!
