AVID is excited to announce Chad Flentje, Katie Selz and Shane Larson have been recently named as partners in the agency. Chad Flentje specializes in agricultural insurance Katie Selz started AVID Risk Solution’s employee benefit division, and Shane Larson specializes in construction.

Chad was welcomed to AVID by its founders during its establishment in 2012. Chad’s educational qualifications combined with his personal experience ultimately culminated to develop his niche within the agriculture industry. After growing up on a horse farm in Baraboo, Wisconsin, Chad has developed an in-depth understanding and appreciation for his client’s day-to-day operations. He has now spent the last 7 years specializing in managing the risks of agri-business and has accumulated clientele consisting of the some of the largest farms in the Midwest. Chad recognizes the challenges faced by the agriculture industry today, and can provide a full spectrum of loss control resources for you and your farm

Katie Selz joined AVID’s Employee Benefits division in 2016 where she, in a short period of time, brought a wide array of value added services to AVID’s clients to help them with their Health & Employee Benefit needs. Driven and passionate about health care, Katie is a true advocate for her clients by listening to their needs and designing programs tailored for their business. As a 15-year Employee Benefits industry veteran, Katie has the tools, knowledge, and resources to make the Employee Benefit experience seamless for her clients. Communication and creativity are two distinguishing qualities that Katie often receives compliments on from her clients which is evident from her high client retention rate.

Shane came to AVID in 2016 with over 16 years of construction experience, first completing his journeyman’s program for heating and sheet metal (Local 18). He then moved on to Morton Buildings where he performed design/sales/project management for residential and commercial buildings. With his knowledge and passion of construction, Shane brings real world experiences and understands the insurance associated with the industry. This background affords him the knowledge to navigate and relate with his clients on their business insurance. Shane is creative in designing insurance programs and understands the proper classifications to keep his clients’ costs minimized while still providing the best of class protection.
