Women May Be the Answer to the Construction Labor Shortage

Women represent just 10 percent of the construction industry workforce, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), which is why many experts in the industry see hiring more women as a possible solution to the skilled labor shortage. Still, in order to increase the number of women in the industry, employers will have to find solutions to some long-standing problems.
